I was just thinking about Sam in the sneak peek of season 10 episode 3. I mean, Demon Dean is brilliant and gives me the most pleasurable goosebumps, but then I think about Sam and… I put it in tags, now I want to put it in words. Here goes (in my horrible English):
When somebody who knows you THAT well turns on you and changes, he knows everything about you. He knows your weakest spots and insecurities, he knows where to apply pressure to break you the easiest. Especially when you have done some terrible things, both in the past, and now. It is enough to push slightly to cut to the bone.
There is nothing, NOTHING, that hurt Sam more than Dean calling him a monster.
So, yeah, I fangirl over Demon Dean, who is awesome, but I am also mortified for Sam. Because he is the one who still has something to lose, while Dean has nothing to lose anymore. And if he had, he doesn’t care. Once again Sam has to fight BOTH for and against his brother. (Not that it only happens to Sam, Dean had a fair share of this kind of fight too).
I just hope Supernatural did not forget the impact Demon Dean’s words must have on Sam. That’s it.
